Shared note

Thomas Nunnock was born about 1730 but I am unsure where - probably in the dales - Barnoldswick, Carleton, Kildwick. His next definate recording was in May 25th 1755 when he married Sarah Laycock at Bingley parish church. Thomas occupation was husbandman. Between then and 1776 Thomas and Sarah had 9 children, 8 of whom survived. During this time they lived at Marley. From 1794 until 1808 according to Bingley Parish Church records of Clothing for the poor, Thomas received clothing which suggests their income was small.
Question - Did Thomas come down to Keighley to find work ?
