James Nunnack was the eighth of nine children born to Thomas Nunnock in 1773. He married Elizabeth Brigg on November 8th 1797 in Bingley Parish Church. They had four children - Thomas born 1799, Mary born 1802, Sarah born 1804 and Deborah born in 1809. They lived at Uncrah a small settlement near the river Aire between Thwaites and Bingley. James died in 1827 but his wife Elizabeth also known as Betty moved from Huncrah to Thwaites between 1841 and 1851 and was a housekeeper. All her life she had either her own children living with her or grandchildren or both. She died in 1865 and was buried at Bingley. |
